Dark Desire: Netflix Mexican series starring Maite Perroni and Alejandro Speitzer returns for a second season.
The official Netflix account announces Dark Desire Season 2 of the original series, in a newsreel-type video where the actress participates Maite Perroni making the announcement.
Dark Desire was viewed by 35 million households worldwide in its first 28 days, becoming the most popular first season (non-English) on Netflix to date. It was also in the Top 10 of 77 countries such as Brazil, Colombia, France, Spain and the USA.
The first season of Dark Desire follows the story of a lawyer, who visits her best friend one weekend because of the latter's divorce. On that getaway, Alma meets Darío Guerra, a 23-year-old young man, and they have a wild adventure. Upon returning home to her husband and daughter, determined to forget her mistake, her life becomes hell.
