In Hope, That Feathered Thing, a high school student with musical talent and aspirations to attend Carnegie Mellon, balances her beloved high school drama club run by Mr. Franks (Fred Armisen). and working long hours at a donut shop to help support herself and her single mother (Justina Machado). He also spends some of his time in the local retirement community. When new obstacles threaten her dreams, Amber must learn to lean on the strength of her chosen family to move forward.
Auli’i Cravalho (Moana) is an actress and singer. Cravalho was just 14 years old when she was discovered and cast as the lead in Disney Animation Studios' global hit film, the Oscar-nominated Moana. She recently played Ariel in the acclaimed ABC television production of The Little Mermaid Live.
