Darby Stanchfield she plays the matriarch of the Locke family, who moved her three children to Matheson, Massachusetts, after her husband, Rendell Locke, was murdered, an event that triggers everything else that happens in the series. At the end of season 2, Nina's youngest son, Bode, uses the enchanted memory key on Nina so she can finally see and remember all the magic happening around her. Thanks to that transformation, he is able to fully connect with his children and participate in all the magic-related action in the final season.

Tyler (Connor Jessup), the eldest of the Locke children, struggles to escape the painful memories of his time at Matheson. The beginning of season 3 finds him physically far from Massachusetts, working construction in Montana, but not as emotionally separated as he would like to be. Will he return to his family and the magical world of Keyhouse? Or will he continue with his decision at the end of season 2 to forget about the keys and everything that comes with them?
