After 18 chapters, Monarch will not return after the season 2. Its final season was announced in 2019, followed by the release of season 2 in January 2021.
The reason for the cancellation of Monarca season 3 has not been clear, but it has previously been known that a third season for the Netflix series that have not had the expected audience have not been renewed.
