Lives of Paper is a sentimental, emotional drama and follows the story of the manager of a solid waste depot in an old and impoverished neighborhood of Istanbul, where emigration wreaked havoc.
Mehmet is a very loved person in the neighborhood, always willing to help those who need it most, especially homeless children and adolescents, because he was also one of them.
In turn, Mehmet has the unconditional support of Tahsin, who for a long time has always helped him and everyone who needs it.
One day, he meets an 8-year-old boy who appears in a friend's garbage bag. Mehmet he feels the need to reunite this child with his parents, but begins to grow attached to him.
