Summary of the movie

The film's plot is set at West Point in 1830, where a cadet is found dead and his heart has been cleverly removed. The academy leaders turn to a detective named Augustus Landor to investigate the murder, but he struggles to make progress due to the cadets' code of silence. Landor enlists the help of a cadet named Edgar Allan Poe, who is described as eccentric and a lover of poetry, to solve the case.
