Netflix will release the thriller movie on the journey. Noomi Rapace (What Happened to Monday?) and Aksel Hennie (Rescue Mission) play a couple in crisis. The Journey will be released globally on Netflix on October 15.
The Netflix movie follows Lars and Lisa, the flame of love that once united them has faded. His marriage and ambitions hang by a thread. Lars' professional career as a director stalled in soap operas, and Lisa hasn't landed a role in years.
Lars feels ignored, suspects that she is cheating on him and his finances are in crisis. Lisa thinks Lars is a self-centered, spoiled coward. Nothing in their lives turned out the way they imagined, especially their marriage. So a weekend trip to the family cabin in the woods seems to give them both a chance to get rid of each other. Forever.
But even this doesn't go according to plan. The journey presents more surprises and unforeseen events than they expected. The Journey is directed by Tommy Wirkola. In addition to Rapace and Hennie, the film stars Atle Antonsen, Christian Rubeck, André Eriksen, Nils Ole Oftebro and Stig Frode Henriksen.
