This movie on Netflix animated action comedy family is about an ordinary family who finds themselves in the middle of their biggest family challenge…saving the world from the robot apocalypse.
It all begins when creative Katie Mitchell is accepted into the film school of her dreams and is eager to get out of the house and find "her people" when her nature-loving father insists that the whole family take her out. the school and Form a bond during a totally non-awkward or forced last road trip.
But just when the trip couldn't get any worse, the family suddenly finds themselves in the middle of the robot uprising. Everything from smartphones to roombas to evil Furbys are used to capture every human on the planet. Now it's up to the Mitchells to save humanity.
The full film has a runtime of one hour and fifty-four minutes and is directed by Michael Rianda, produced by Oscar Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and Kurt Albrecht, and features the voice cast of Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Beck Bennett, Fred Armisen, Eric Andre and Oscar winner Olivia Colman.
