The Samurai Age The Battle for Japan Netflix has a release date on the streaming platform on February 24.
The Netflix series is a historical documentary and follow the dramatizations and comments of experts, that brings to life the turbulent history of power struggles in 16th century feudal Japan.
It will tell the story of Masamune, a famous samurai who fought closely with the three founding fathers of Japan, warlords who drove savage crowds of samurai against each other to unite the country 400 years ago. As a child, Masamune put out his own eye when he became infected with smallpox, He killed his younger brother to ensure his line of progression, succeeded his father when he was 17, and soon after defeated neighboring factions to join a large part of the North.
Directed by Stephen Scott, Age of Samurai Netflix series six chapters, features Masayoshi Haneda, Masami Kosaka, Hideaki Ito, Hayate, Wilfred Lee and Philippe Koo in its cast.
