Netflix revealed the release date for the suspense thriller starring Amy Adams, The Woman in the Window movie on Netflix. It will premiere on May 14, 2021.
Netflix acquired the rights to the film in August 2020, which is based on author AJ Finn's book of the same name.
The Woman at the Window movie Netflix thriller follows Dr. Anna Fox, starring Amy Adams, an agoraphobic who witnesses a disturbing incident she wasn't supposed to see.
After befriending her neighbor, Jane Russell (Julianne Moore), Anna is deeply affected when Jane disappears one day after a violent incident at her apartment. Anna, consumed by her friend's whereabouts, begins to unravel as she sinks deeper into reality.
The Netflix movie is directed by Joe Wright, director of Darkest Hour and Atonement. In addition to Adams and Moore, the cast of The Woman in the Window stars Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Fred Hechinger, Wyatt Russell and Brian Tyree Henry.
